Biography

How Did I start my fitness journey?
I grew up playing sports and fitness has always been very important to me. Not because I thought it was fun, but more so because I knew it was a vital to being successful in sport. So technically, I guess you could say that my fitness journey has been happening my entire life!

However, I’ve been working in the health & fitness industry for over 14 years but in 2011 I tried a new fitness craze called CrossFit which really changed my fitness and lifstyle. Fast forward to 2020 and I’m still loving the group community fitness space, both as an owner and athlete in the sport of fitness.

What Inspired you to become a coach?
As a lifelong athlete it seemed like second nature to help others become their absolute best. I LOVE helping people and have been coaching for years. But when I started coaching group community fitness classes, I noticed that it was something more than leading a group through workouts. I loved the people, the camaraderie and the process of watching people transform. The more I coached, the more I loved it. I truly enjoy serving others, and helping people become better through fitness, and feel that coaching and now owning a facility is part of my life’s purpose. I’d like to think that it shows through my personality and my genuine enthusiasm to help and inspire everyone that I meet.

What is your favorite Benchmark or style of Workout?
I usually love anything with heavy olympic lifting movements but if I had to pick a benchmark, I’d say “Diane” its fast and furious, and showcases strength and skill.
